Hi Again! Woot woot, another WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Worlds!
All you have to do to enter is answer the three questions below:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading
- Sanctuary by Caryn Lix
- Short Summary: Alien meets Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds in this thrilling debut novel about prison-guard-in-training, Kenzie, who is taken hostage by the superpowered criminal teens of the Sanctuary space station—only to have to band together with them when the station is attacked by mysterious creatures.
I recently signed up for NetGalley and one of the first few books I was approved for was Sanctuary by Caryn Lix. I’m really enjoying it thus far, a bunch of superhero kids stuck on a super elite space prison. And if trying to escape isn’t enough, there’s been hints of a looming outside attack by something alien. So it’s cooooooool af. (Is that what the kids say these days?)
As for Obsidio, I’ve decided to shelve it for now, I think I will pick it up again, but rather than feeling guilty when I pick up new books – on the shelf it goes until I really want to get into again.
Recently Read
- Circe by Madeline Miller (For my review, click here)
- A Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3.1) by Sarah J. Maas (Review to be posted this week)
So Circe was amazing, and I recommend it wholeheartedly. My review of ACOFAS will be out soon this week!
What Will I Read Next?
Ugh… so I’m torn…. I don’t know what to read next… Please help me decide!
- Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1) by Jay Kristoff
- The Diviners (The Diviners, #1) by Libba Bray
-
Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah
- A Torch Against the Night (An Ember in the Ashes, #2) by Sabaa Tahir
If I had to be honest, I’m leaning towards The Diviners or Born a Crime…
Gah, the struggle is real folks.
So many tempting books! I am curious about Circe. Here’s MY WWW POST

Sanctuary sounds so good, I love books set in space and especially if there’s aliens! I just read Nevernight and it was amazing, but The Diviners sounds amazing too… Picking a book to read is so hard, there’s so many good ones to chose from 😂
